Overview

Spiti Valley, known as “middle land of Himalayas” sharing it’s boundary with Tibet and Ladakh. During the winter period it transformed into a fairytale journey as the entire valley painted with white layer of snow. The temperature of frozen Spiti River falling below -20 degree Celsius. Ki Monastery, almost 1000 years old and standing tall at 13,700 feet altitude, is an ancient temple of mysticism. The ever last silence of nature you can feel during the morning prayer of this surreal structure. Owing to heavy snowfall on the high mountains in Spiti Valley, Most of the rare wild animals like Blue Sheep, Red fox, Ibex, and the mysterious Snow Leopard descend to a lower altitude in search of food. So we have excellent opportunity to spot these wild animals during the trip.
